Chenega Corporation Workspace Deployment and Disposition Service Lead in Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio
The SC Workspace Deployment and Disposition Service Lead provides Level II Service Desk support and DLADS and Factory support during core business hours. The SC Workspace Deployment and Disposition Service Lead provides support to resolve service requests tickets for new installation or desktop configurations within defined service level expectations. The SC Workspace Deployment and Disposition Service Lead executes up to 350 desktop computer recapitalizations per month as needed, including imaging and the removal/disposition of old computer.
Work closely with Hardware Technician (Desktop) support, Equipment Control Office (ECO), NASIC Property Custodians (NPC), and logistics to schedule equipment pickup
Coordinate corrective action required by outside, parent agencies as required
Resolve assigned tickets using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
Adhere to and follow all safety guidelines, including use, storage, and proper maintenance of all tools
Use existing processes and tools to sanitize and prepare multiple types of equipment for pickup
Image, install, maintain, repair, and remove workstations and peripherals
Provide computer inventory and accountability support in accordance with customer prescribed practices with minimal supervision
Maintain list of tools and toolboxes associated with this functional area
Work NASIC incident and service requests received and use best OEM practices to troubleshoot and repair defective devices
Install and move workstations and peripherals in accordance with NASIC guidelines
Maintain a stock of at least 8 systems per network per day for break fix utilization
Maintain inventory of needed equipment, including hard drives, printers, and toner, etc.
Receive, test, and return to governmental bench stock all vendor repairs and warranty items
Ensure replacement computers are operational upon installation to the customer, including all software
Communicate with the customer to ensure they retain all functionality upon receiving a new computer or printer
Provide monthly functional area reports summarizing work accomplished, work planned in next month, and important issues occurring during the month

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience OR
Associate degree and 12+ years of relevant experience OR
High school diploma or GED and 14+ years of relevant experience
DoD 8140 (formerly 8570.01-M), IAT Level II: Security+ CE Certification required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to supply remote support and occasional on-site support, which may be required for Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) facility, located in Quantico, Virginia
Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others
Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
Experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues
Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone with good phone skills and a professional demeanor
Previous customer service experience strongly desired
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it
