Chenega Corporation Records Analyst II in Washington, District Of Columbia
The Records Analyst II will serve as the primary point of contact in initiating the record transfers, quality control, and assigned special projects for the Bureau of Prisons.
Serve as the primary point of contact for initiating record transfers and special projects as assigned.
Conduct record inventories.
Process record retrievals and refile as needed.
Conduct quality control on the records operation.
Create and evaluate records schedules, file plans, and standard operating procedures.
Develop, maintain, and research processes to implement an effective recordkeeping system.
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years of Records & Information Management or relevant experience
Background check required and BOP security clearance eligible (Public Trust)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
National Archives and Records Administration certification desired.
Ability to work individually, in teams, and interact in a tactful manner with the government staff.
Ability to communicate fluently in English and understand and follow procedures.
Demonstrated ability to deal simultaneously and calmly with several crises, to determine the relative importance of each, to recognize important users of the service, to accord to them priority attention, to discern the true nature of problems from imprecise descriptions, and to refer problems to the proper individuals for resolution.
