NJVC is currently looking for aProgram Managerto support an upcoming new contract supporting the DIA in the National Capital Region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the effort.

  • Direct efforts of cross-competency teams, including contractors at multiple locations, and shall serve as the primary interface and POC with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and project issues.

  • Responsible for regularly briefing leadership on project status and milestones.

  • Oversee contractor personnel project operations by developing procedures; planning and directing execution of the contractual, technical, programmatic, and administrative support effort; and monitoring and reporting progress.

  • Manage acquisition and employment of project resources and control financial and administrative aspects of the project.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

  • Ten years of project management experience managing complex projects or relevant experience.

  • Active certification in at least one of the following:

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional or Program Management Professional.

  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification.

  • Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Manager (FAC P/PM) Level 3.

  • It isdesiredthat the PM has the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree.

  • Five years of experience managing projects utilizing non-traditional program management methodologies (e.g., Agile) in a big data environment.

  • Experience in an IC, military, or other Government environment performing in a related subject area (e.g., project management, engineering, computer science, etc.) to that of the TO.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting

  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals

  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.

  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired.

  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it.
