NJVC is currently looking for aProgram Managerto support an upcoming new contract supporting the DIA in the National Capital Region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the effort.
Direct efforts of cross-competency teams, including contractors at multiple locations, and shall serve as the primary interface and POC with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and project issues.
Responsible for regularly briefing leadership on project status and milestones.
Oversee contractor personnel project operations by developing procedures; planning and directing execution of the contractual, technical, programmatic, and administrative support effort; and monitoring and reporting progress.
Manage acquisition and employment of project resources and control financial and administrative aspects of the project.
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Ten years of project management experience managing complex projects or relevant experience.
Active certification in at least one of the following:
Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional or Program Management Professional.
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification.
Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Manager (FAC P/PM) Level 3.
It isdesiredthat the PM has the following qualifications:
Five years of experience managing projects utilizing non-traditional program management methodologies (e.g., Agile) in a big data environment.
Experience in an IC, military, or other Government environment performing in a related subject area (e.g., project management, engineering, computer science, etc.) to that of the TO.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired.
Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it.
