The hourly pay for this position is $45.67.
The Privacy Program Analyst will primarily support the operational processes of the Privacy Program in support of the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).
Serve as subject matter expert for BOP Privacy and Records requirements.
Work regularly with leadership on ways to facilitate and promote activities to foster information privacy and record awareness within the organization and related entities.
Work with Program Officers to develop draft Initial Privacy Assessment(s) to be reviewed by senior management for approval.
Coordinate and collaborate with program officers to develop draft Privacy Impact Assessment(s).
Assist with the development of Privacy & Records Management training and orientation as needed.
Assist in the developing and refining of processes for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating items relevant to the organization’s privacy policies and procedures
Complete annual Chenega and DoD required trainings as required.
Record labor hours daily in the company’s timekeeping system as required.

High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years of Privacy and Records Management experience
Must have working knowledge and experience in information privacy laws, access, release of information, and release control technologies
Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) desired
National Archives and Records Administration certification desired
Must be a U.S. citizen
Background check required and BOP security clearance eligible (Public Trust)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) within 6 months of start.
Must complete NARA KA 1-6 classes to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
Ability to work individually, with a team, and interact professionally with leadership and government staff.
Ability to communicate fluently in English to understand and follow procedures.
Demonstrated ability to deal simultaneously and calmly with several crises, to determine the relative importance of each, to recognize important users of the service and to accord to them priority attention, to discern the true nature of problems from imprecise descriptions, and to refer problems to the proper individuals for resolution.
Must have advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe).
Must be able to multi-task in a high stress, performance-based environment.
Must have the ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines.
Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
