The Tool Administration Lead is responsible for setting enterprise data standards and developing of formal description of the data and data structures/metadata.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and build relational databases.
Perform data access analysis design, and archive/recovery design and implementation.
Develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
Work in a data warehouse environment, which includes data design, database architecture, and metadata repository creation.
Develop data warehousing blueprints, evaluate hardware and software platforms, and integrate systems.
Review and develops object and data models and the metadata repository.
Instruct, direct, and check the work of other task personnel.
Assist SPPI in the administration and management of the Department’s portfolio management toolset, including, but not limited to eCPIC, access databases, Microsoft365, and Tableau.
Troubleshoot issues that arise with the portfolio management toolset.
Develop customized system workflows and processes to streamline manual processes.
Develop and deliver custom reports.
Maintain SharePoint/Google site(s).
Visualize data in Tableau.
Document requirements, business rules and processes, functional and technical specifications and operating procedures.
Software development and database support.
Develop user and functional requirements.
Develop data dictionary.
Develop entity relationship diagrams for database(s).
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline
10 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to be a self-starter, pay strict attention to detail, and multi-task across multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
Proven technical aptitude and a desire to learn is a must.
Excellent verbal/written communication, organizational skills.
Interpersonal skills and ability to excel as part of a team.
