The Senior Logistician is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems related to Hypersonic Weapon Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform engineering and technical investigations to assess modification of existing and/or developing Hypersonic Weapon System support equipment for handling and transporting.
Develop various engineering and logistics technical documentation.
Manage overall objective of contract requirements and meet required deadlines.
Provide system safety engineering support.
Provide test and evaluation support
Provide logistic support for various flight tests.
Develop presentations and information papers
Research, analyze, and compile data into information, decisional, and instructional briefings
Develop metrics to track level of effort and progress in preparation for senior level reviews and updates.
May develop a wide range of products
Perform engineering design evaluations
Recommend alterations to the design or development to improve quality of the products or systems
May be required to provide daily supervision and employee recruiting, development and retention in compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
May be responsible for management of program cost, schedule and performance.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of relevant experience required in:
Management Information Systems
Or related field
Interim Secret acceptable but must maintain minimum Secret security clearance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
15 years of relevant experience with rapidly increasing performance of projects and complexity preferred.
Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
Expert knowledge of logistics and life-cycle management principles, concepts, policies, and regulations.
Expert knowledge of DoD and Department of the Navy systems engineering processes and procedures
Expert knowledge of Defense Acquisition Program Management policies and processes
Strong planning and organizational skills are required.
Expert ability to meet and deal with customers using a high degree of tact and diplomacy
Expert ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, to include writing and preparing memorandums, letters, briefings and other official correspondence
Expert knowledge and skills in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Travel: ability to travel 15-30% to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Ability to work nights weekends and Holidays as required
