The Junior Contract Manager Specialist shall provide assistance in the areas of contract administration and management support to Contracting Officers (CO) and program office Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist, monitor, and track contract obligations consistent with the contract requirements.
Research issues regarding protests, terminations, disputes and claims, and compile or produce data to support the Government’s position in response to such actions.
Prepare contract modifications for the CO signature in PRISM.
Ensure the original, fully executed contract modification is placed in the contract file;
Scan and upload an executed copy of the contract modification
Complete the FPDS-NG module with PRISM.
Prepare and assist with presentations to support meetings, conferences, and IPTs.
Analyze data, metrics, and trends and provide findings.
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
High school Diploma or GED equivalent
2 years post-award contract administration and management experience.
1 years specialized experience in federal government contract management and administration, as a federal employee or as a federal contractor employee.
United States citizen with no dual citizenship.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
DAWIA or FAC-C Level I Certification Highly Desired
Ability to demonstrate strong business and organizational skills and have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Must be detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Working knowledge and understanding of Software Applications such as:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS)
Federal Business Opportunities (FBO)
