Chenega Corporation Web Application Tester II in Warren, Michigan
The Web Application Tester II is responsible for a variety of testing related activities in support of the project.
Manage the testing, documenting, defect tracking and information flow of multiple projects in various testing environments.
Create and modify test plans, test reports, and other test documentation.
Test production readiness and feature upgrades.
Provide technical support needed to establish network requirements.
Develop and communicate plans as required.
Analyze test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Complete company and project related training requirements as required.
Record labor hours daily in the company’s timekeeping system daily as required.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline required.
3-5 years of experience in the field or related area.
Secret clearance required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office suite and Outlook.
Ability to create and execute automated tests.
Experience using test software.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
Must have the ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to multi-task in a high stress, performance-based environment.
Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines.
Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
