Chenega Corporation Logistics Training Instructor in Saudi Arabia

Summary

The Logistics Training Instructor will plan and conduct logistics technical training classroom instruction to assigned Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Apply conventional teaching techniques using USG provided logistics training materials and Courseware.

  • Participate in the development of supplementary materials, as needed.

  • Make professional recommendations for improvement of curriculum design, training materials, student administration, and training program management.

  • Evaluate student performance.

  • Advise on the placement and training needs of students.

  • Work with the designated customer representative to develop disciplinary processes that allow clear guidance to the student as it relates to the student's academic environment.

  • Provide administrative backup for the logistics team leader, when necessary.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and U.S. military experience of 5+ years in the Logistics, Supply, Contracting, Finance, Aircraft Maintenance, Munitions, or Engineering career fields

  • Understanding and/or experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) logistics training programs

  • Previous instructor experience

  • Experience or formal education in Instructional Design, Instructional Materials Development, and incorporating training aids and devices

  • Experience in developing, reviewing, and revising instructional materials IAW specific learning objectives

  • Secret clearance required

  • The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to evaluate and refine course curriculum.

  • Ability to develop and deliver curriculum assessments.

  • Must possess an ability to instruct in multiple logistics disciplines, including supply chain operations, logistics plans, data compilation, deployments of forces, and mobilization planning.

  • Advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office suite and Outlook.

  • Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and train others in the written and verbal English language.

  • Ability to multi-task in a high-performance based environment.

  • Possess strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to self-start and work independently or as a team.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% as requested.
