Chenega Corporation Release Train Engineer in St Louis, Missouri
Summary
The NJVC Spatial Solutions Division has an opening for an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead and facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) processes for multiple projects and teams on the Task Order. The successful candidate will help configure the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to the Task Order’s needs, standardizing and documenting practices to ensure valued delivery to the customer.
Responsibilities
Establish and communicate calendars for program increments (PI)
Facilitate PI planning readiness by bringing together the vision, roadmap, and backlogs through pre and post-PI planning events
Lead and facilitate PI planning events
Assist in tracking the execution of features and capabilities
Help manage risks and dependencies
Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
Assist with decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams
Work collaboratively with Product Owners, Task Order Management, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with customer and team interactions
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience; OR 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
Active Top-Secret Clearance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance
Desired SAFe Agile Certification
Desired 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
Desired Certified Product Owner
Desired Certified Scrum Master
Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.
Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
