The System Administrator (SA) is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related ITEMS UFS infrastructure. The System Administrator (SA) will ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling mission success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, and installation for enterprise individuals or organizations.
May be expected check network systems and assist customers at their designated location.
Ensure a timely process through which problems are resolved and proper follow up steps taken.
Provide support to end users on a variety of issues.
Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.
Provide tier one support to end users for either PC or hardware.
Interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
High School / GED and 4 years of relevant experience or
Associates and 2 years of relevant experience or
Bachelors Degree in IT Field.
Active CompTIA IAT Level II Certification within 90 days of hire
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired.
Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
