Chenega Corporation Security Manager Analyst in Robins AFB, Georgia


The Security Manager Analyst shall have the experience specifically related to Department of Defense Security functions and the capability to support assigned security tasks and support personnel in the analysis, support, specialty, security/or functional capability of the task. Will provide analytical and technical security management support for daily operations functions managed by the USG. Will interact and coordinate with lateral organizations or external agencies to facilitate day-to-day operations.


  • Ensure classified material is protected according to DOD, USAF, AFMC, and local directives.

  • Review and provide recommendations to standard practices and procedures and other related program guidance as it relates to classified information.

  • Check information against security classification/declassification guide during the course of the contractor security manager functions.

  • Provide security support and guidance in the processing of investigative paperwork.

  • Document and validate background information for USG and Contractors.

  • Provide personnel security assistance and guidance to the USG.

  • Report security incidents and violations and monitoring security incident investigations.

  • Prepare reports as identified on a case-by-case basis by the Program Security Officer (PSO).

  • Prepare and process Program Access Requests (PAR) for individuals requiring access. Contractor shall be trained, if required, in completion of first tier review of PARs to ensure compliance with current DoD and SAF/AQ directives.

  • Screen and verify all required forms and documentation to ensure they are complete and accurate before submitting to the PSO for signature.

  • Review each request received to determine validity for access indicated.

  • Conduct Defense Clearance and Investigations Index, DISS checks and local files checks.

  • Accomplish program indoctrination and maintain a list of approved and briefed personnel.

  • Plan, manage, and administer the security education program to ensure material relative to special security programs is presented annually.

  • Provide accurate access information, via personnel security database or access rosters, for personnel attending conferences where program material is discussed.

  • Execute the annual special security self-inspection program.

  • Eevelope and update required internal security processes and standard operating instructions relative to security and to ensure they are executed throughout ACS programs.

  • Maintain security file plans, in addition to computer-generated database records.

  • Monitor the organization's mailbox regularly for messages requiring action.

  • Augment Contractor security inspections.

  • Escort personnel visiting the facility when required.

  • Assist/perform security inspections and Enhance End Use Monitoring (EEUM) with Defense Security Cooperation Agency at various locations and countries outside the US.

  • Write/co-develop and staff for approval with the associated country an EEUM security plan.

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 10+ years of experience in the respective technical/ professional discipline being performed with proper certifications as described in the Labor Category performance requirements OR ,

  • BA/BS degree, and 12+ years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed with proper certifications as described in the Labor Category performance requirements OR ,

  • 15+ years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Labor Category performance requirements.

  • Top Secret Clearance required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% to other locations based on client needs

  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting

  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals

  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.

  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired.

  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
