CAS is currently seeking aProgram Controller to join our growing team

Summary:

TheProgram Controller will compile financial information and analyze cost estimating and financial data processes from both a government and corporate perspective. TheProgram Controller shall be fully versed in government budgetary processes and requirements, obligation/expenditure tracking, and providing accurate timesheets for invoicing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Examine and review cost records and ensure cost data is allocated correctly

  • Assist finance team in analyzing financial and budgetary information

  • Reconcile and track obligations, expenditures, and contract funding levels, including travel vouchers and other direct costs

  • Collect timesheets and review for accuracy

  • Provide financial data support for proposals and budget processes

  • Track and review invoices and generate related support documentation

  • Provide Program Managers with guidance on ensuring project/program financial accuracy

  • Establish close working relationships with government and internal and other partner Company Program Managers

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 3+ years’ experience working with both federal government accounting and corporate systems

  • Background check required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field is preferred

  • Proficient knowledge of Costpoint/Deltek/Cognos

  • Previous experience working/supporting Chenega project(s) is preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), and Outlook

  • Strong financial background and organizational and analytical skills to interpret and prepare financial reports and documents

  • Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Ability to be versatile and work independently while achieving results

  • Attention to detail is required

  • Must have the ability to travel as required
