Awarded in August 2021 to the Parsons Team, the TEAMS next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract has a three-year base period plus four one-year options that should take the period of performance through the end of 2028 into 2029. The primary purpose of this contract is to provide outstanding systems engineering services vital for MDA mission success at multiple locations around the world. Venturi, LLC has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Systems Analyst who will support the Director of Engineering Integration (CEI) by serving as an Integration Readiness Lead (IRL), focusing specifically on the Terminal High-Altitude Air Defense (THAAD) system. As an IRL, you will help identify and champion system-level concerns with THAAD in regard to the Missile Defense System (MDS). You will coordinate with the Element's development team to track the system-level concerns identified and maintain a status on the path(s)-forward for resolution. The IRL will act as a liaison between the THAAD program and the MDA Chief Engineer's office for applicable tasks such as Action Item resolution, status briefs, etc. Your focus on THAAD, within the MDS, means you will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on THAAD within the MDA Chief Engineer's (CE) Office, furthering the scope of impact you will contribute.
Work you’ll do
As a Senior Systems Analyst within our TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering team, you will:
- Help identify and champion System-level concerns with THAAD in regard to the Missile Defense System (MDS) to include: tracking and maintaining identified system-level concerns, working with your system's development teams to track the concerns and project if/when/how those concerns will be mitigated in future development efforts, reporting the status of the tracked concerns to leadership, and participating in fielding decisions associated with your designated system(s) by representing the CE in the assessment of applicable concerns in the system up for decision.
BA or BS (preferably BS in STEM)
7+ years of experience
Familiarity with the THAAD Weapon System to include interceptors, sensors, and/or command & control systems
Experience with DoD weapon system, requirements, and capability development; integration of multiple systems; and/or developmental and operational testing
Experience and comfort with briefing senior engineering leadership
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Active secret security clearance
