Venturi, LLC is currently seeking talented individuals to add to our Talent Network.
Summary: TheMove Management Scheduler (MMS) is responsible to the Move Management Supervisor to ensure the move schedules, office move support services, and other similarly assigned tasks are published and scheduled with the Dispatcher and Transport Manager. TheMMS will ensure a master move plan is developed and provided to the Contracting Officer and the government customer at least monthly, and if larger number of moves are occurring simultaneously, the reporting requirement may be increased. TheMMS will have a US Government Top Secret security clearance to access secure networks and facilities on a daily basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for customer satisfaction on each assigned move.
Responsible for direct interaction with customers regarding project requirements.
Provide space planning and move management to complete move and reconfiguration projects.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate the day to day details for all aspects of each move. Review with Move Manager prior to implementation.
Initiate and execute programming, planning and design coordination, overall project scheduling and control, overall budgeting and reporting, capital expenditure requests, financial administration, project documentation and project close-out.
Coordinate project activities with internal and external partner and suppliers.
Coordinate activities with the customer, building service staff, contractors, vendors, and move personnel.
Review move related quotes and track cost to ensure all moves are done within budget.
Provide move spreadsheet support to customers to ensure proper completion.
Oversee and direct move and post-move activities.
Ensure the maintenance of all appropriate project management records and files.
Ensure all customer space standards are maintained and followed.
Maintain technical knowledge of latest release of AutoCAD.
Perform space measurements and follow all customer drawing and layering standards.
Interface with customer’s space management program.
Ensure that plans are updated and the database is current.
Provide back up to other transportation/logistics positions as needed.
High school diploma/GED required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
1+ years experience in coordination or project management, move management, logistics, or transportation industry
US Government Top Secret Security Clearance;
Be able to successfully complete a counterintelligence-based polygraph examination.
