The Quality Supervisor will supervise the quality auditors and tutors at the HBG FSF in performing all audit and training functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute and monitor internal procedures for adherence to government regulations and policies.
Coordinate operational and administrative actions.
Conduct continuous ongoing quality and process control.
Effectively monitor the performance of all aspects of the quality process.
Maintain, retain, and organize on-site records of all contractor-conducted inspections and the corrective actions taken.
Delineate the organizational placement, duties, and responsibilities of the QC staff.
Ensure when samples are used for quality verification; they are sufficient to produce a statistically valid result; yield an acceptable minimum confidence level and a maximum acceptable margin for all populations.
Conduct monthly audits of files located within the USCIS and contractor work units throughout the USCIS Harrisonburg File Storage Facility.
Continuously and systematically audit the files in all file areas to ensure the accuracy of filing and tracking of records.
Conduct employee orientation and training in what constitutes acceptable performance of their duties in accordance with DHS USCIS regulations and policies.
Reconcile all RAILS Audit Reports within twenty-four hours of the audit: search for, locate, and update all unaudited files.
Perform a re-audit for any missed files, groups of files or RPCs shown on the RAILS Unaudited Reports immediately following printing of reports.
Conduct special audits as needed at the direction of the COR, and update RAILS system accordingly.
Verify and prepare routine requests for ingestion into EDMS in three business days from the receipt of the unit file.
Verify all scanning processes for Priority requests and prepare them for ingestion into EDMS within two business days from receipt of the file.
Stage files for QA process.
Comply with all contract specifications.
Attend in-person meetings with government personnel as required.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: program management, business or public administration, production/operation/manufacturing/quality management, technical management, information systems, engineering, or finance/accounting.
USCIS will allow 3 years of management experience with the same or higher depth and breadth of responsibility as for this position.
2 years of experience in managing quality control operations.
Must possess a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification as certified by the American Society for Quality, (ASQ).
Must have demonstrated experience in monitoring internal procedures for adherence to Government regulations and policies and coordinating operational and administrative actions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities.
Ability to present oral briefings to Government oversite personnel.
Demonstrate interpersonal ability to communicate with others effectively.
Demonstrate good decision-making skills and respond to high-pressure situations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word and Excel.
Ability to be contacted 24/7 via phone (email, text and call), in case of an emergency.
