The Senior UX/UI Designer is responsible for designing user interfaces based on user needs and project requirements for a complex enterprise software application. He/she will research, perform analysis, define workflows, create low and high fidelity wireframes, design interfaces and prototypes, and conduct testing and evaluation to validate and verify that application enhancements that offer the best human-system interaction experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of UX techniques to uncover pain points that allow for educated decision making (journey mapping, use-cases, information architecture, user flows, user interviews, personas, wireframes, usability testing, A/B testing, and data analysis).
Identify and implement process improvements and design methodologies that will make the UX team more efficient and effective.
Support the discovery of technical requirements and communicate scope to design team.
Advise product decisions through user research, customer development, and iterative feedback loops.
Work closely with design team to efficiently build application workflows by translating complex business requirements.
Work with Front End Developers to implement designs across web, mobile, and other platforms.
Identify the best methods for user research and testing within project constraints.
Implement Lean UX principles in defining minimum viable products (MVP) for prototyping and testing.
Provide functional style guides, annotations, and other artifacts that allow developers to seamlessly build application features.
Integrate User-Centered Design practices and deliverables into Agile development processes.
Bring the voice of the user while accommodating customer needs and technical requirements.
Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, design, engineering, and quality assurance.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
10 years of relevant UX/UI design experience.
Experience should include expertise in three of the following areas:
Lean UX principles
Front-end software technologies
Degree preferred (but not required) in User Experience, Design, Human Computer Interaction, or Information Science.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong portfolio featuring design solutions across multiple platforms.
Experience with prototyping across various platforms.
Experience working in a fast-paced, development heavy enviornments.
Strong understanding of front-end technologies and how UI solutions will effect other parts of the system.
Ability to persuasively communicate complex concepts interactively to all stake holders.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Solid understanding of user-centered design, visual design, and usability best practices.
Ability to work in an Agile environment.
Ability to work individually and within a team and assist teammates to achieve team commitments.
Ability to discuss, present, and defend designs and design decisions.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Must be detail oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
