The Exercise Control Planner (Journeyman) shall provide subject matter expertise in support of the Air National Guard Southern Strike Tactical Exercises.
Responsibilities
Provide exercise subject matter expertise to support the planning and execution of exercises to facilitate the requisite integration with the global DoD exercise community.
Assist with assessment, design, development, implementation, management, and testing of current and prospective exercise programs and subordinate processes, including joint and interagency exercises.
Acts as advisor to the program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Assists PM with accurate and timely completion of contract deliverables/CDRLs as required for status and monthly reporting.
Complete annual company and customer training, as required.
Complete timesheets daily in an online system according to company policies and procedures.
Travel up to 30%
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
7+ years of experience with operational-strategic operations.
A Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout the lifecycle of the contract is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
Must have the ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to multi-task in a high-stress, performance-based environment.
Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines.
Ability to self-start and work independently or as a team.
Possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
Maintain a high level of integrity and accountability.
Ability to travel up to 30% as required.
