TheSoftware Developer (Web Master - SME ) will maintain a web presence that supports the diverse production of the various branches of the Army.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops custom programs for web sites which will attract and are appealing to users.
Ensures products developed under this PWS are available in a timely manner to the greater U.S. Intelligence Community.
Maintains a web presence that supports the diverse production of the various branches of the Army.
Performs database design, implementation, and maintenance.
Authors software configuration documentation, user manuals, and provides one-on- one consultation to the branch chiefs and senior analysts.
Updates and maintains the classified intelligence website and associated systems; including: posting data, providing information and responding to documentation for activities such as Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Assistance (RFAs) and Request for Products (RFPs) daily.
Assists with monitoring the status of classified requests, such as Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Assistance (RFAs) and Request for Products (RFPs), and provide weekly updates.
Provides page design, development, and integration of information to web-based presentations for the Army’s Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) web sites.
Conducts coordination with internal and external information technology service providers to help maintain and improve the sites.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred
10+ years of relevant experience and possess the following:
Strong understanding of the ASP.Net Web development framework
Strong C# programming skills.
Strong Visual Basic (VB.net) programming skills.
Thorough understanding of MS SQL Server and the ability to create, modify and delete database objects (i.e. tables, views, sequences, triggers, etc.) and formulate advanced database queries.
Solid experience using Visual Studio.
Solid experience using database management software (i.e. SQL Server Management Studio).
CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent within 30 days of hire.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Functional knowledge of the following skills required:
Should have experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS) as a source code versioning control system
