Job Title:Applications Systems Analyst III
The Applications Systems Analyst III is responsible for providing expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts and in translating business process needs into technical requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form desired results
Prepare specification for programs. Assist in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements of existing applications
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and end-users to ensure application designs meet business requirements
Create and define specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modify/maintain complex existing applications using manufacturer engineering releases and utilities
Demonstrate success in designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documentation of programs
Provide overall operating system sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting, and advanced mathematical/scientific software packages
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Bachelor’s Degree required
Must have at least 10 years of experience in business process and system analysis, design, and implementation
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certified
Requires Top Secret clearance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge in configuration management, strategic planning, knowledge management
Knowledge in Business analysis and technical analysis
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Ability to design and maintain technical and project documentation.
Excellent organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
Ability to perform team assessments and evaluations.
Ability to efficiently and effectively identify and solve project issues.
Ability to define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.
Ability to define and schedule project/program implementations.
