Summary
The Analyst shall provide analytical support to senior leadership, researchers and staff in the Defense Health Agency Analytics & Evaluation Division (AED).
Responsibilities
Analyze current trends, statistics, and issues using corporate and other data systems.
Perform special request data pulls from CHCS, GENESIS, MDR, and M2 for special reports requiring staff data analysis.
Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, briefs, and presentations.
Perform project tracking and reporting for day to day activities.
Process travel orders in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR).
Perform analytical studies on MHS health care trends, program performance and resource consumption.
Provide advisory service to faculty and staff regarding records and information management policies, standards, and procedures.
Coordinate arrangements for meetings, conferences and other group activities.
Maintain, organize, and prioritize senior staff calendars and schedules.
Provide support to the executive support staff with the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS), Travel (DTS), DAI Timekeeper, conference and meeting technical support, and o
ther general, administrative, and secretarial office support for mail, phone, meeting support, correspondence, travel, and other requirements.
Support staff in CATMS, Records Management, and compliance taskings.
Provide proposal support.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma required
5+ years’ experience in office, business, or medical administration
Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
DHA background check required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Working experience with Microsoft Office Tools (i.e., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
Possess good problem solving, decision making and critical thinking skills
Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
Ability to work well with others, frequently across multiple office locations
Possess a positive attitude that promotes a positive working relationship between colleagues, partners, and clients
Ability to type 50 WPM
Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with ability to switch priorities quickly as needs change
Military Health System experience preferred
Ability to travel up to 10% as required

The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
