Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for the business development, capture, and management of task orders under our SeaPort-NxG Contract Vehicle. As the Project Manger, you will be responsible for all aspects of performance on our SeaPort-NxG vehicle including Business Development, Customer Relationship Management, Task Order Management and Program Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, capture and assist with proposing on various efforts released under SeaPort-NxG, set aside for small business and within the full and open space

  • Work with the Director of BD and BD Analyst to review and analyze task orders issued and determine bid/no-bid decisions

  • Market company capabilities within the U.S. Navy as well as build strong teaming/partnerships with Industry partners

  • Manage task orders awarded under our contract vehicle and personnel ensuring successful contract performance.

  • Responsible for identifying, marketing, developing and capturing new business.

  • Work with the Business Development Director to track potential opportunities.

  • Lead the effort to market vehicle and maximize revenue on contract.

  • Manage partner relationship, including opportunity registration, teaming strategies, and negotiating agreements.

  • Manage quality of service delivery on task orders and ensure maximum customer satisfaction obtained, as quantified by CPAR ratings.

  • Collaborate with company functional areas including finance, contracts, human resources, recruiting, subcontracts, quality, business development, proposal development and operations.

  • Collaborate closely with the contracts administrator to perform administration of the contract.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Science, Technology or other technical discipline.

  • 5 years of relevant experience managing IDIQs, MACs, or GWACs and Task Orders required.

  • Prior U.S. Navy with recent and relevant experience at PEO EIS, SPAWAR, NIWC, and/or NAVSEA

  • Experience with U.S. Navy along with connections to various U.S. Naval offices, specifically the Navy PEO EIS, SPAWAR, NIWC, and NAVSEA.

  • Top Secret Clearance required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Professional, and Microsoft SharePoint.

  • Experience with SeaPort-E a plus.

  • Ability to travel to customer meetings as needed.

  • Understanding of the U.S. Navy along with connections to various U.S. Naval offices, specifically the Navy PEO EIS, SPAWAR, NIWC, and NAVSEA.

  • Understanding of Government Contracting, SeaPort-e or SeaPort-NxG a plus.

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.

  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
