Resolutions Records Supervisor

The Resolutions Records Supervisor is a working supervisor that will manage employees and direct workloads for a paper and electronic records program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage, guide, and direct team responsible for reaching out to external resources to attain resolution of records issues.
Ensure communications from all team members are articulate, punctual and professional to external clients.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure that manifest issues logs are properly maintained and resolved in timely manner.
Monitor time and efficiency to effectively establish and maintain daily productivity.
Perform quality control reviews of the work performed and condition of paper and electronic record keeping systems.
Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements methods as required.
Organize and direct shelf-reading and other quality reviews and in electronic record keeping systems.
Work directly with personnel as the first contact for the resolution of records issues.
Ascertain and report special needs, issues, and challenges to management.
Provide training and guidance to staff, and new team members as necessary.
Perform and direct complex assignments that require a moderate level of planning and organization.
Work directly with staff to obtain determination of final disposition of information.
Effectively administer guidance and resolve personnel issues; escalating larger issues up the chain of command.
Meet or exceed all quotas and goals set forth by management for production levels.
Complete all required daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements independently and accurately.
Oversee a team that produces an average of 12 industry user contacts per clerk per day.
Interface with management and personnel to coordinate and execute special projects/and or provide research for management and COR or other government records staff with respect to special collections of records, their organization, identification, use, and tracking.
Verify all file requestors to ensure that they are employees.
Plan, organize, direct and guide the activities of team members
Discuss and resolve any operational issues through proper management chain
Manage team member timecards, performance evaluations and participate in the hiring and termination process.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Associates Degree preferred
2 years of experience in a service-related area or production environment
1 years of experience in a supervisory or team leading role
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Prior military experience in personnel or documentation management is a plus
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written English communications skills with the ability to correspond with professional staff and interact tactfully with Government staff.
Ability to read and understand complex sets of procedures and other documentation.
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
Work well under pressure and stressful situations; exhibit emotional control.
Strong interpersonal, conflict management and organizational skills.
An ability to lift standard FRC boxes, weighing 30 pounds numerous times during a day.
Ability to work individually, in teams, and interact tactfully with Government staff.
Ability to communicate fluently in English and understand and follow procedures.
Ability to maneuver through all facets of managing people, from directing, developing, guiding, resolving and actively participating in the daily occurrences within the department.

The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
