Systems Storage Administrator
Summary:The Systems Storage Administrator will provide primary and backup server system administration support. This role is responsible for all site backup solutions planning, installation, configurations, testing, and implementation. The position is also one of the Organization Administrators (OA) responsible for site level Active Directory management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide systems administration support for Windows operating systems and applications.
Responsible for backup and recovery of physical and virtual servers including, but not limited to, user home directories, file shares, and applications such as SharePoint, Domino, and Oracle.
Install, configure, maintain and provide troubleshoot support for all operating systems, applications and hardware assigned.
Provide Organizational Administrator (OA) providing domain services support and administration as required to include managing Active Directory resources including, but not limited to, user accounts, security and distribution groups, and group policy objects (GPOs).
Maintain system compliance by ensuring all approved IAVAs, SPs, and patches are installed and configured. This includes maintaining Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) compliance and reporting.
Perform systems backups and recovery procedures. Document all system requirements associated with Disaster Recovery and COOP in the systems support documentation.
Create and update related server/application documentation including; Trusted Recovery Documentation (TRD), Method of Procedures (MOP), user guides and other related training material.
Work with the customer to help track annual maintenance support of systems, hardware, and software.
Plan, schedule, conduct, test, verify and restore system and file backups on all applicable nodes using a combination of technologies (tape and disk) including, but not limited to, Nutanix Replication, Nutanix Acropolis File Services (AFS), Netapp, and CommVault Enterprise Backup software.
Plan, install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware/software required to support existing and new backup solutions.
Follow all NEC policies, procedures, applicable regulations, and Functional Area processes.
Maintain currency on technology and service capabilities.

A Bachelor’s Degree is required. 4 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and training, may be used in lieu of a degree.
5 years or more of Systems Administration or related experience required.
Desired OS/Application Experience: Windows Server 2012/216, Active Directory Utilities (ADUC, LDP, GPMC, etc.), CommVault, NetApp ONTAP, Nutanix AFS 3.x, Nutanix Replication
Desired Certifications: MCSA, NCP
Possess Baseline and Full Computing Environment Certifications for IAT-II IAW DoD 8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002
Must have Windows Server certification.
Must have NACLC with Tier 3 investigation
